Singapore Math question

Post by Great2kids » Wed May 12, 2010 2:11 pm

I am getting ready to order for next school year (fall) and wanted to make sure I ordered the right singapore math. Do I order the Primary Math 1A and 1B U.S. Standard Editions? Also, do I need to order the textbook 1A and 1B for this level or just use the hands on scheduled in Beyond? Thanks for your help!!

You just need the US edition workbooks...not the US Standards edition. I think you need the textbooks starting with 3a.

You need U.S. Edition Primary Mathematics: 1A workbook, 1A textbook, 1B workbook, and 1B textbook (This all would be considered one year of math)

This is correct. If you're using the hands-on activities on Beyond that Carrie has written, you will NOT need the textbooks for this level. We love the hands-on activities at our house!! :D They do a great job of teaching the concepts...and they're FUN! :D

Ok, so to be sure I have it right I need Primary Math workbook 1A (ISBN# 978-9810184940) and 1B (ISBN# 978-9810184957). Just wanted to double check before I order so I don't have to send anything back , or reorder something. Thank you ladies for your help :D .

(Sorry edited to change to workbook)

You do NOT need the textbooks... just the workbooks

Ditto - since you have the Beyond guide, you only need the workbooks. Here's HOD's link to it:
