My ds was disappointed to finish Little Hearts, and yet excited for what we'll be doing next. Thanks, Austin family, for helping to make our year so fun! God has given you a unique gift for developing curricula that glorify Him, Carrie. We pray that he pours out his blessings on your family!

Congrats on finising LHFHG! We felt the same way when we finished LHFHG. :( We're just one week away from finishing Beyond, I'm both excited for the upcoming break but sad that we're done and will be moving on. DD feels the same way, and she feels the same way about all the books we have used. She pushes for more to be read every day, but is sad when we finish a book.

Hooray for finishing LHFHG! We felt bittersweet about it too. In fact, we do with every HOD guide. But the tinge of sadness is fleeting - as we get excited to begin our new HOD book the following year. :D

In Christ,
Julie

Kristen,

You made me watery-eyed at the keyboard as I was remembering our own bittersweet end to LHFGH last year. The time goes by too swiftly, and the older I get the more I treasure those sweet memories with my children of those younger years of HOD! Thanks for sharing and reminding that time is fleeting. :D

Blessings,
Carrie

I know dd needs a break when she finishes K at school, but I'm getting more and more excited about starting HOD, especially when I read posts like this. I hope my dd has the same response. Thanks for the sharing these things.
