facebook and myspace, etc

Does anyone have a facebook or a my space? Or if you have older children, do they have one?
I have a facebook, and honestly I must be old because I don't see the attraction there. *shrugs* It's just another way for me to waste time online, kwim???
Anyway, my boys' don't have accounts; they haven't been interested. My oldest has a blog, but that's about it.
I've been thinking of it because it seems to be the only way a lot of kids communicate anymore. I like the internet, and I'm active on a couple message boards, but I don't use it as my primary form of communicating. We are having a two-session forum at my church about teens and sex and teens and the internet, so it's been on my mind. Mostly I think I have a unique opportunity to train my boys appropriately since we homeschool but I'm not naive enough to think they will never run into things.
Anyway, just thought I'd ask for input!
