DITHOR 2/3 book pacing

I just wanted to know if anyone had their son (7) read 'Hannah' and 'Pioneer Cat'? These are the books I have scheduled for our Historical Fiction as the next DITHOR genre. I figured he could do them now while he is still young so he won't think they are too girly :P
Mymain question is how you scheduled the two books and how it worked out best? Which one to do 10 days and which one to do 5 days? (I don't like to re-invent wheels unless it is necessary :D

Thank you so much! I am very excited and will plan it out now. We are starting next week... :D I am sure he will enjoy them, just thought since there are girls on the cover he might not pick them himself :P

Not sure if you saw this page where it tells you how many days to do each book. I know you already got your answer, but I've found it very helpful and thought it may be some use to you in the future. :D

thanks for the question. my son will be 7 in October and soon after that we will probably be reading those books. i wondered the same thing , if they were too girly, but Carrie picked them so they must be good.:) so glad to hear they are much enjoyed. I also don't want to search out other books if i don't have too. why make it more complicated?
