atlas that has it all?

I have searched for this topic and found a few discussions on the board but am hoping that there may be a few new answers...
I am looking for a good atlas for my children and me. There are some things that we can't find and I just don't know where they are very well. For example, the source of the Mississippi and the Missouri Rivers... we can kind of guess from our map. Independence MO isn't even listed in our children's atlas :( Even something like the Oregon Trail. So I've been getting on the internet and finding other books so we can find the locations of these things...but it sure would be easier if I could find one atlas that would just have it all! Does this resource exist? or am I asking for too much.

One resource I have for maps is www.yourchildlearns.com . It allows you to print maps according to what you are looking for. I've never used it (haven't had the need yet but I'm sure I'll need it soon) but hopefully it will help you out!

Blessings,
