For those of you who have used Singapore 3A and above...do you use the Home Instructors Guide daily (as written) or just pull it out when you get stuck?

Thanks for your thoughts!

My middle ds is currently beginning 3B. We finished 3A not so long ago. We did NOT need the IG.

We're finishing 4A and have not needed the HIG. :D I guess I'd think you may as well try it without it for awhile, and then get it later if you think you'd like it. At this stage, for me, I've felt like it would just add more work that is not necessary. However, it's always an option for those who would enjoy it. :)

I have the HIG for 3a and 3b, I have not used it all year. I have used the textbook and that has been sufficient.

Thank you. I have the 3A HIG and was trying to use it daily. I was spending much more time doing math in school than I felt was really necessary. Thanks for the "ok" to use Singapore as written (without the extras :). I'll keep it on hand for extra ideas if we get stuck (and I love the game ideas in some sections).
