The stone rolled away and the tomb was empty. Let us never forget the sacrifice Jesus made for our sins. Today, we celebrate that He is risen!! Death did not defeat Jesus and it will not be the last thing for us either. We have been given eternal life in Heaven. Thank you Jesus! HE IS RISEN!!!
Last night, we went to "Easter in the Park."It is a series of plays put on by local churches depicting the life and death of Jesus. It was AMAZING!!!! My kids were just in awe of the scenes. Scotty had a tough time with the "sentencing" scene - especially when they were beating Jesus. I started crying around that time and didn't stop unitl we went home. At the end of the scenes, we met in a small group and our guide had a prayer. There were 5 people in our group that accepted Jesus as their Lord and Savior last night! To God be the glory! And let me just say how AMAZING it was to pray the sinners prayer together as a family! All of us have been saved - my yongest was just baptized in Feb - but we all prayed the sinners prayer on our own. It was incredible to reaffirm our faith and love for Jesus, and to confess our sins together as a family. The whole thing was just a wonderful experience. Praise God for such an experience the night before Easter.
I hope everyone here has a wonderful and blessed Easter!!! HE IS RISEN Indeed!
