I posted a question earlier about doing LHTH for 2 years or LHFHG for 2 years. Someone suggested that I might want to both for 1 1/2 years, which I thought was an excellent idea. I'm confused about how you go about doing something at half speed. It will probably make more sense when I get my materials, but I'm so excited I just can't stop thinking about getting started. I guess I have too much free time on my hands now that my search for curriculum is over.
Eagerly awaiting my box.....Woo Hoo!!!

Well, I'm sure there is more than one way to do it 'half speed' but here is the simplest way I can think of. Each guide is set up with two pages of plans per day (except LHTH). To go at half speed you would complete page 1 of the Day 1 plans on the first day, then the next day complete page 2 of Day 1 plans. (left side, right side of the two-page spread) And yes, it will be much clearer when you have your guide in hand and can actually look at the way it's laid out. If you start with LHTH, since it's just one page of plans per day, you could just choose to do half the 'boxes' one day and the other half the next. Hopefully others will pop in and let you know how they've done or give suggestions for different ways to accomplish this. HTH
Oh, here are the links to the 1st week of each guide so you CAN actually see how they're laid out!

Tracy,
Here's a past thread that will give you lots of ideas...
viewtopic.php?f=6&t=5600 It will probably make more sense once you actually have the guide though.

There are ideas for both LHTH & LHFHG in there. Have fun with your new box...I LOVE box day!

Hi Tracy! The ladies already did such a good job of helping out here, so I'll just add that the links they gave you should really help you as you think through how you'd like half-speed to look in your home. I can't wait for you to get your boxes!

Be sure to ask any more questions you have for fine tuning things once you get to look through things.
In Christ,
Julie
