Extension Package?

Just wondering about how much time the extension package books add on to the schedule time wise? Like Bigger says it will take approx. 3 1/2 hrs to complete, so if a child were to do the extension pack how much time would be added on to that? Thanks for any info.

Hi! We aren't using Bigger Hearts but we are using the Extension Package with Preparing. My son gives me oral narrations of his reading but I do not require him to write those up. I guess he probably spends around 15 minutes doing his reading and oral narration of the Extension books. He is a strong reader and loves to read. It may take a little longer if he didn't enjoy it.
Not Bigger Hearts but maybe that will give you an idea of what to expect.

I agree with Donna's estimation, including the consideration whether the child is a strong reader and narrator.
Otherwise, it could take longer, though I wouldn't say any longer than (at the most) 25 minutes.
