Yeah!! Now that we are doing all the components of CTC, yesterday and today moved very fluently. My daughter and I truly experienced the open and go of HOD. Yeah for me of no more trying to plan which book and what lesson needs to be added. I've also quit trying to fret about what day of the week we are on, now its more focus of what day of the unit needs to be completed. I'm finally letting myself be comfortable with pushing for completion, not necessarly perfection. Perfection will come with time and practice.
Over the last week or two of shedding all those extra books from her daily schedule, I've watched dd shed that look of anxiety of trying to get it all done, because now it does get all done!
One thing I did do was recalculated how to finish God King, figured out where dd had stopped ended up being the exact number of pages for Jonah and Esther. Since we could easily do those as a family reading it was very easy to let God King over lap into that story time slot.
My husband and I both agree that HOD is the perfect fit for Kasey and are looking forward to being able to implement the future guides into at least 2 years of her highschool years when she is ready. YEAH
OT would also like to ask for continued prayer for my family. My mother will be going in tomorrow for lung surgery.
