DITHOR help

Post by MommyMc » Thu Feb 11, 2010 3:56 pm

I need help! Obviously I don't remember my literary analysis teaching from elementary school or high school.

I have the teacher's book and the level 2/3 student book and I still can't figure out how to help my son with his Day 3 worksheet for "Adventure" genre. We are doing a Story Map.

"Describe the Setting," I understand.
"List the Main Characters," I understand.
"Explain the Problem," I understand.

I understand the concept of "List the Moods" but I don't really know what we should put on the paper. (I also have the level 4/5 student book for my daughter, but this exercise is not the one for today.)

He's reading Black Stallion, if that helps.

Well, my son understood it better than I did then. :) He did that all by himself. I just wasn't sure what we were REALLY supposed to do. I try to read to much into things I guess. :o
