New here and I am trying to make the best decision

We are just beginning to homeschool (again) our four kids. We pulled them out of P.S. right before Christmas and have been doing a lot of de-schooling. 
I feel drawn to HOD. I like the open and go idea, I like the read-alouds. I just like so much of it.
I should back up and introduce myself. I am Kasey. I have ten children
altogether with just six left at home. My older two are juniors in public highschool and the rest are a third grader, a sixth grader and two eighth graders. I am a veteran homeschooler and graduated my three oldest who are now grown and launched into the world. Until four years ago I homeschooled them all but due to things beyond my control I had to send my kiddoes to P.S.
I have a few questions but need to chat with my HubbyMan yet and get his questions also.
