Got my boxes!!! Starting in April!

Post by mommyofmany » Tue Feb 02, 2010 10:56 pm

We are so excited to have finally decided on a curriculum and will be starting LHTH and LHFHG in April. We are waiting so we can finish up 100 EZ lessons with our 4yo (turning 5 in April). I'll be doing a modified LHTH w/our 3 1/2 yo son that has Down syndrome. I know he is going to LOVE the finger plays and songs! Music and singing is so motivating for him.

Our box day was great! Shipping was amazingly fast and accurate! Dh and I looked through all the books and ooooohed and aaaaahed. I'm so happy to report there were no books that we felt like we'd have to *edit* because of inappropriate content (like we've had to with some of our Sonlight selections). I am so happy the Lord led me to Heart of Dakota. I just KNOW this is going to be a great year! :D
Blessings,
Emily

Hooray, Emily! :D Box days are SUCH FUN! :) That's so neat you and your dh went through it together, and your kiddos are going to love LHTH and LHFHG. Thank you for sharing your box day as I'll have to wait for my next box day until August (since that's when we start our next school year, and I'll be getting RTR). I have such a tough time waiting for the next box day to arrive, so I get to live vicariously through you for a moment and celebrate your box day! :)

In Christ,
Julie
