Hi! I would like to assign my 5th grader one of the books from Bigger's Extension Package titles. I have all of them. Can anyone tell me which one would be particularly good for the Adventure genre? This would be for him to read with DITHOR.
Thank you!

I know "Toliver's Secret" is an Adventure...but it is also part of the Level 3 DITHOR book pack, so maybe your child has already read it? I am sure "Bud and Me" would also be a good Adventure (as well as Biography), but we haven't read it yet. I just got that feel from reading the front inside cover.

For Adventure, I think I'd choose
Bud and Me. It's a hoot, and full of adventure!

Otherwise, if your ds enjoys the genre of Humor
, By the Great Horn Spoon was a huge hit with my ds, and for the genre of Biography, my ds has read
Freedom Train at least a handful of times. Those titles are our favorites.

Thanks so much! I think we are going to go with "Bud and Me". Wish me luck! He loves to read but he is very picky. I guess I should say, "discriminating"!
Blessings!

We used
Guns for General Washington as an adventure for storytime in Bigger because we'd already read
Snow Treasure the previous year. Grant loved it! But I was reading it aloud. I haven't read the others.
