Carrie,
I see that HOD will be at the conference in Arlington, Texas. Will you be there? Or just a booth? Will you be speaking? Can we take you out to dinner?
OK, enough questions! But I do think it would be great to meet you and all the other families that are using HOD in Texas.
I will patiently wait for your reply...

Wondering if you will be attending any conferences near Rochester, New York. We've already got our 'stuff' for next year, but I would love to meet you and your family. Is there a list or conference schedule on the web site? Maybe I'll look there!

I was wondering if she is going to be in Arlington as well. I live in the Dallas area and I have never been to the Arlington homeschooling convention. It looks like a lot of fun.

Ladies,
Hooray! I will be in Arlington, along with either my mom and dad or my wonderful sister!
Even though it is a long drive for us, we love to exhibit in Arlington as its a very Christ-centered convention run very, very well. The people are so friendly, and it feels like we're right at home. I didn't apply to speak in Arlington, as when I travel with my parents it's hard to leave them alone in the booth while I'm off speaking.
Thanks for asking!
Blessings,
Carrie

WONDERFUL!!!!!!!!!
Is there anyway we could have an informal gathering with you after the convention, before you leave? It would be great to be able to show our appreciation to you and your family. I am sure I am not the only one in the DFW area that would like to do that.
However, if you are not interested, I understand too. I know that conventions are A LOT OF WORK!

Dorla,
You are so sweet to ask! We would love to meet any of you that are able to make it to Arlington. However, we tear our booth down right after the convention and still drive that evening until at least midnight to be able to make it home by late Sunday evening. It is a 16+ hour drive straight through for us from Arlington to home.
You can see how much my family loves me (and puts up with) to go to conventions with me!
Blessings,
Carrie

Me too!
We always love seeing familiar faces at conventions (as it feels like a reunion), but it will be especially sweet getting to meet some of you as you all have become so precious to us already through the board!
Blessings,
Carrie

Awe I was hoping to go to the confrence and make you eat dinner with us...
but since we live an hour away in the wrong direction it woudn't have been at my home.
Carrie what you need to do is get these Ladies to be volunteers so you can speak for an hour and your dear old parents aren't all alone. Mom or dad can take the Money
GFA does that and it really helps free's up our "staff" for the important break out sessions.

yea!! I am so happy to hear that you are going to be in Arlington. This is only my 2nd year going, and actually planning on staying for both days. It will be great to put a face with your name.
Too bad it doesn't come up sooner.

I should just let you ladies plan my convention schedule!
It sounds like you would do a great job!
Seriously though, we pray over our convention schedule so much. It is hard to decide where to go, and due to the schedule needed for writing a new book yearly, we have to keep the conventions to a reasonable number.
I am so blessed that my family has plugged away with me at conventions through the years. They do it because they see it as a ministry too!
You ladies are the best!
Blessings,
Carrie

I'm jealous of all you gals that will get to see Carrie. My HS convention is in SoCal.
I hope you all have a wonderful time!

Me too. Mine's in Michigan. Come to MI Carrie, the snow will make you feel right at home!
you don't want to go anywhere warm. That'll just make you ready for summer before it's time.

Ha! Ha!
More snow is NOT what I need.
I need spring! Ahhhh- budding trees, chirping birds, blooming flowers, buzzing bees, kids playing outside for hours on end!
Maybe I need to go somewhere warm? You girls are so funny!
Blessings,
Carrie
