First day with Little Hearts

Today we started back to school after Christmas break and began Little Hearts. Samuel and I both had a blast! When we got to the rhyme, he absolutely loved it and asked to do it over and over. After we finished the rhyme for the 2nd or 3rd time he looked at me and said, "Mommy, this is like the first school we did! I loved that school!" He was talking about when we did LHTH at the beginning of last year. I was surprised that he figured that out, but was so glad for his comments because it made me 100% sure that I did the right thing by switching to Little Hearts now instead of waiting till Fall. He enjoyed the first chapter of Reddy Fox and gluing Cheerio's on the numbers in math. He loved science when we went into the bathroom turned off all the lights and shone the flashlight on different objects to remind us that God made light and everything else. Today went so smoothly and reminded me of all the things I loved about HOD before, mainly that God is back at the center of our homeschool. I'm so glad that we switched back!

congratulations and welcome back!! i just love little hearts! i used a different curriculum last year when my dd was 4, and while i loved many aspects of it, it did not touch our hearts like HOD has. i am always amazed at how Spirit filled this curriculum really is! enjoy!

Yay, Stephanie!

That is worth celebrating!
You and Samuel are going to just keep on loving it, too. We're having a blast with it this year! Christ-centered and fun, what more could you ask for??

Hooray Stephanie!

LHFHG was just right for our little guy too, and he had the same reaction Samuel has had to it.

Samuel is sure to continue thriving with LHFHG, and in the meantime, you can rest assured you are sharing God's love in a real way with your ds - which is such a cornerstone of homeschooling.
In Christ,
Julie

Stephanie,
I'm so excited for both you and Samuel!

It's amazing that Samuel remembered doing LHTH and the activities that went with it. Those little minds take in more than we know.
We pray that you will enjoy LHFGH as much as we have with our own kiddos.

Your post blessed my heart today and really encouraged me. Thanks for taking time to share!
Blessings,
Carrie
