Question about CTC

This may seem silly, but I'm not sure if I understand so I'll ask anyway....

In the bible study portion for CTC I noticed that there will sometimes be a statement "highlight Genesis 2:11" or something like that. Does this mean the child is to actually highlight that in his/her bible with a hilighter or does it just mean that is the verse that is the main verse? I told you it sounds silly, but I just want to make sure I have it straight.  Thanks!

Good question :) - it means to actually get a hi-lighter and hi-light the verse(s) noted. The idea is that as dc flip through their Bible, they will easily be able to recognize verses they have committed to memory. My ds has been doing this since Beyond, and it's amazing how many verses he's learned. He loves to flip through his Bible and find the verses he knows, and check if he still knows them. He also likes to flip to them when trying to give a Biblical link to something we've been studying. It's been amazing to see! :D
