OT-updates and prayer request

Hi all I know we haven't been posting a lot these past few weeks. In the last two months we too have had rounds of sickness, our oldest dog had to be put down, then two of our youngest dogs ending up extremely ill w/ gastronitius and pancreatitus, getting behind (according to my self-imposed) school schedule, and family issues.
In the past few months I have seen the wonderful prayer warriors that are tied into this message board. I would like to ask for yall to be praying on some matters of our family's life.
1. We need a new home-- either be able to buy a modular home for the current property we are on now, or be able to sell where we are, move to a larger property and a new home but stay within a 25 mile radius of my husbands work.
2. We need the home because of the massive amount of repairs that are needed to this home would be more than what its worth now.
Also in January I will be having my 71 year old mother move in, because of the home she currently shares w/ my half brother is to say the least abusive toward her overall mental, emotional and physical well being. This will be a permenant move, as she does need some minimal help with physical care, but likely to increase in the coming years.
3. Prayer for me and my family as we begin to make these adjustments to our life styles.
4. I will honestly admitt I am feeling drained and worn both physically and emotionally.

5. A happy prayer request---- tonite my dd Kasey will be in her first ever cooking contest for her 4-H club at our county fair. Please pray for her to be able to perform well, and not be nervous. She has practiced hard over the last 6 weeks prepping, chopping, assembling and baking a very delicious pizza.

Thank you ladies for your devotion to God, to your families, and willingness to be intercessors in people's lives. Yall are an inspiration to me to remember to just stop and praise Him and lift others up at all times.

Jasmine lifting up your families hardships to God and praying that He will take care of all the details and provide His best for you. That is a lot of hard things that require a lot of trust and faith. I will remember to lift you up in prayer. Also praying for confidence and a good experience for your daughter. What a wonderful opportunity for her. Hang in there and rest in Him. It is hard for us but not hard for God and He does have solutions. :D Praying for you!

Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light. Mathew 11:28-30.

Jasmine,

I'm just seeing this now and am taking time right now to pray for both your needs and the needs of your family. We serve a mighty God who hears our prayers. I am trusting that He will care for you and knows your needs.

Blessings,
Carrie

Thank you Carrie,
It's really amazing that you replied on Thursday, November 12th. We were hit again with another heart wrenching loss. Our second oldest dog, Gretel, Simms playmate (the one we put down just a bare 4 weeks ago) fell terminaly ill. On that Thursday evening, we came home to find Gretel extremely ill. We rushed her to the vet where she was given fluids for dehydration and medicine to soothe her stomach and intestines. The next day we had xrays done. Sadly they found a huge mass in her belly. We decided to take her home and treat her w/ comfort care and see if she would perk up through the weekend. She didnt, early Saturday morning she took the turn for the worse and we had to put her down. Both Simms and Gretel would have been 15 this coming spring. They were in Kasey's life before she was even born, and therefore her friends and staunch protectors throughout Kasey's 13 yrs of life.
Please keep Kasey in your prayers, as for her, her best friends have always been 4 legged versus the two legged. The loss of these two so close together has saddened my girl. I know time will be the key to working through such a heavy hearted loss.
Thank you again for your prayers....

Jasmine,

I am so sorry for your loss. I know it will be very tough on your Kasey, and I can empathize. When our Pomeranian passed away at age 11, it was so much harder on me than I thought it would be. I missed seeing him everywhere! He had been our "baby" before we had babies, so I know the feeling of loss that comes with a beloved pet's death. I am praying for Kasey and for your family right now.

Blessings,
Carrie

Thank you ladies for all the prayers. Unfortunately I am again having to pen another request. This past Friday my mother has been hit with the news that she has a dime size mass on her outer wall of her lung, likely hood it is cancer. We have yet to discuss this with Kasey, as Memaw is her beloved granma, best friend, waffle maker, uno playing buddy.... everything that makes up grandma. My mother has always been there in her life. The two have a bond that goes beyond words. I am not sure how Kasey is going to handle this...
I think I have posted this particular bit, that at the end of Dec. we will be having my mom move in. We are in desperate need of a new house. We will probably give my mother young Tiffy's room, and move Tiffy into our bedroom.
I know I have to let all this go into God's hands... but oh how it all hurts.....I don't know just how to go from here.... worries of how to handle the care to come, balancing the children and homeschooling...so much that when I begin to think on it, its like I just shut down and can't wrap my mind around it all.

I don't know exactly what or how to pray right now...
Please for wisdom, accepetance of things I can't control or change, to remind myself to enjoy each moment and blessings of each day. Please pray for my mother, for healing--physical if God willing, and for healing of the heart and soul. Lift her up ......

Thank you....
