I guess the word IS out. My postman didn't even ring the doorbell. I had been looking for it so I don't think it was there for long. Unlike most of you, my kids were more interested in the packing bubbles than the books, but once they popped them all Andy wanted to start the history book.

We now have everything for Little Hearts! We're excited to start, but we have a few more units in Little Hands and since my oldest is graduating I think we'll be taking a break before we start again. :( I'm planning to school year round once we get going, but my first graduate has me alittle stressed and sad. She has decided to stay closer to home for college, though. :D Her first choice had been a 12 hour drive away. I can't make her choice for her, but I am thrilled that she will be close! Anyway, I digress.

You all are right - box day is fabulous!!

Hooray! I LOVE box days! I'm so glad your daughter will be closer to home - I think that may break my heart someday to go through that, but I know it's part of our dc growing up and maturing (which is the goal, isn't it?!?). Anyway, here's a "happy dance" headed your way through cyber space! Go box day, go box day, go...go... go box day!

Yea! :D Little hearts is so much fun.

I refuse to even think about my kiddos growing up....I've made my dd5 promise she won't get any older than 6 and she has to sit in my lap and cuddle forever!!

Anyone else have a picture of Julie breakdancing in their head??

Laurie,

So glad you are enjoying your box day! :D A big ovation to your dd who is graduating and a hat's off to you too! I know that will be me all too soon, and I won't be ready! I can already tell the years go faster the older the kiddos get.

Blessings,
Carrie

Laurie,

Happy box day! Little Hearts looks so fun, I can hardly wait to get there. I am so bad though, I already purchased the manual for Little Hearts and much of the material to go with it, and I am not even planning on using it for close to another year!

What a blessing that your daughter is staying nearby for school and congratulations on her upcoming graduation!

By the way Melanie, I picture Julie doing that dance where it looks like you are stirring a big pot with both hands! Don't know what it's called!

Melanie and Candace - Any type of dancing I might do could scare you - dare I say, I used to be able to do the MC Hammer move, and the Michael Jackson moonwalk though? Scary, huh? I tried to do it for my sons the other day - I don't think they were impressed - and I was in pain afterward (a good reason to retire those moves!) 8) Perhaps I need to take on the "stir the pot" move, if Candace could please demonstrate!!!
