just had a praise! i had my son reading early reader books from library after finishing 100 Easy Lessons, for about 6 weeks. Now we started reading the Beginners Bible as listed in emerging readers. He is doing great and is really comprehending what he is reading. i am loving "narration'' at this young age!

That's awesome, Jenn! :D It almost seems like a miracle when this happens, doesn't it? We are a good way through the Emerging Reader's Set and have loved every book. It is just so neat to see our dc's reading abilities bloom. Thanks for telling us about it! :D

In Christ,
Julie

Jenn that is wonderful. We are doing the emerging readers our second time around and just about to start my last reader on it as well. I love the way they teach so easily. And don't they just get so proud to be reading a real book! So happy it is all going well for you. That is a huge victory in your homeschooling! It's amazing but teaching reading and comprehension really does not need to be that hard. I wish I had figured that out earlier in my hsing career but glad it is here now. Anyway sharing in your joy! :D
