I think Narnia could be either adventure or fantasy. Whatever works for you. :D

I would definitely say The Call of the Wild would be an adventure book. I haven't given it to my boys yet (7 and 8), but it is for sure on the "to-read" list for them as they get older. I remember vividly reading that book in 5th grade as a child. It had a big impact on me. Thanks for reminding me of the book. :)

I think of Chronicles of Narnia as a fantasy, and Call of the Wild as an adventure - but the 2 genres are closely related and titles could interchanged easily if that fits your overall plan best. :D It helps me to read through the genre guidelines in the DITHR Teacher's Guide at the beginning of each genre to see if a title would work for that genre. HTH!
