Just curious to see if others have seen this in their children when they began homeschooling and if it continues through more years of homeschooling?!

siblings better friends while learning together?!
I've noticed over the past month of using HOD/homeschooling (our first year) that my two oldest (ds6 and dd3) are becoming really good friends. They're playing more together, there's much less bickering between them and they really seem to enjoy spending time together (especially using their imagination to build/create all sorts of things).
I love what I'm seeing...can I attribute it to HOD curriculum because while they each have their own this year, they participate in each other's activities? Or just the fact that they're both home together this year for school?
Just curious to see if others have seen this in their children when they began homeschooling and if it continues through more years of homeschooling?!

My kids are the same age (6 and 3). I've noticed now that DS (3) is old enough to really play with others, he and his sister will often play together and hang out together. I just assumed it was just DS being old enough to play with others. Though I'm sure once we start doing LHTH with him, he will learn more about caring for others and sharing.

Absolutely, this is the amazing thing about homeschooling. Spending time together actually makes you get along better. Siblings with Siblings and Parents with Siblings. Our natural instinct is to send our kids away to be apart because they aren't getting along when actually doing the opposite will make things better. (with time of course, perhaps not right away!)
