Latin

Does anyone teach Latin along side HOD? I am doing CTC with my 10 yo ds. I was just wondering if anyone adds in Latin. We have not, but I may begin soon.

I started Latin for Children when my oldest was in 2nd grade (before she started HOD). We like it. The younger kids are learning the vocabulary too, b/c of the DVD and chant CD.

We're using Song School Latin, but it is for K-3rd. That may be a little young for your son. But it is fun, if you have youngers!

We also are doing Latin for Children for my older 2. The DVD and chant CD's make this a very doable independent study that is right at their learning level. It's been a great match for us!
