Usborne Internet-Linked Ancient World

I have a question about the Usborne IL Ancient World that is used in Preparing's Extensions Books schedule. I have two copies of Usborne's Ancient World book. I have Usborne's World History Ancient World (no internet links) and The Usborne IL Encyclopedia of World History which includes the Ancient World book as one section of it. The latter does have the internet links. Otherwise, it is exactly like the other Ancient World book that I have. Basically, they added the internet links and put it in a bind up with other titles from the World History series.

I thought I could get by with using one of these. I've seen the one that HOD sells and it really is almost exactly the same. The problem is that now I see that in the Extension Books Schedule, you don't just read right through the book. You actually skip around some and that is throwing me off on knowing what to read when.

Has anyone else used one of the books that I have instead of the one scheduled in the guide? The schedule in the guide only lists the page numbers, so I have no topics to use to match them up. The page # for the first reading would have my son reading about Europe's First Villages. That is page 16 of the book that I have. Doesn't seem like that would be where we should start, so now I'm not sure what to do.

I really hate to have to buy a third book that will be so similiar to what I have now!
Any suggestions?
Thanks!

I think I have the right book, and page 16 in mine is Mesopotamia.
