Thank you ladies for your prayers. I am truly thankful for them.
Lillian seems to be doing better now, but it has been a long week. The vomiting has stopped (as well as no more dyhydration PRAISE THE LORD! \o/). However the diarrhea is still lingering (I know....gross...sorry!), but is starting to not be quite so liquid-y (I KNOW....even
more gross!) And no fevers!
It could have been worse. Lillian came down with salmonella on Mother's day this year. It was truly horrible!

Two solid weeks of high fevers, vomiting and diarrhea. And it wasn't the swine flu. Not to mention, that no one else became sick, so I will be thankful.
Carrie, I'm sorry to hear you and your family were so sick. I know how hard it is to be a sick mama and try to still care for all the littles. I'm glad you are all on the mend now though.
I recently just read of a tea that helps to build immunity. It is also reported to help prevent swine flu promote a faster recovery for those who already have the swine flu. It is called tulsi tea (or holy basil). Here is the link if anyone want to read more about it.
http://www.thenourishinggourmet.com/200 ... oster.html I just bought some of the tea yesterday at our local food co-op. They might sell it in larger grocery stores that carry a good organic supply. It is also on Amazon. I saw the concentrated capsuls of it as well, but those were more than my budget would allow. I imagine that they would have even more immunity boosting qualities however.
