Just thought I would share how the Lord brings us together in so many ways.
I received my CTC material the other day and as I was studying I noticed Ann Voskamp as the author of A Child's Geography. It stuck me because we have co-workers over here on the mission field with the same last name.
Fast forward to a visit with a friend the other afternoon and as she was showing me a book off her shelf, I happened to notice that she had A Child's Geography Explore His Earth. I mentioned that Explore the Holy Land was the one we are using this year and she said "Well, you know that is Bert's sister-in-law, right?" I remembered that Diane, Bert's wife, and I had spoke about Ann's website, but I was pleased to find out that this wonderfully talented woman was related to my friend. I have been to Ann's website a bit now and her love of the Lord and the outlook of all His goodness to His children is very familier in the couple I work with here in Indonesia. It is an encouragement to me of how God uses us all if we are willing. I am even more excited to learn geography with my kids.

Could not say it any better than Happy2BHome. But I will say that the author has a wonderful blog that I have found very inspirational. It is obvious she has a tremendous depth about her and a great love for the Lord. Maybe you will get to meet her. That would be fun! But if not her products are amazing. You'll be blessed.

What a neat connection! It is amazing how small the world of believers can be sometimes isn't it! I completely agree that Ann's books are amazing. Her love for the children around the world shines through!
