Okay, I'm going to try this one more time. I've typed this e-mail thread 2 times and I don't know if I hit the wrong button or something but it got deleted both times when I went to post it!
Anyhow, we are loving the program, so far! We are doing Little Hands, Beyond, Bigger and Bigger x/extensions so we are techincally almost doing 4 programs. It is taking us till 3 pm but there are breaks scheduled in between for kids at different times so I can have one on one time with each kid. My 4 yr. old loves the first 20 minutes I spend with him doing Little Hands and my older kids sometimes join in the rhymes too! I have also scheduled different children to watch the baby (MOTH) which has helped alot! THe only thing we haven't been getting done is Poetry. But we even started DITHOR with my eldest 3 times a week which is going well but I need to also be more involved with a discussion.
It is definately an open and go curriuclum however, I do need to read ahead the night before to make sure we are organized for the following day with supplies etc.
So far, so good! I'm hoping HOD will work for us for many years to come. Thank you Carrie, Julie and everyone who gave such great advice. I researched this curriculum for 4 maybe 5 months. Each time I considered doing something else, I came back to the overwhelming positive feedback users were giving it so I'm glad I tried it!
