Another Singapore question, esp for Daisy

We have been using MEP math. We are 3/4 of the way through year 4. I have been happy with it, but it moves so slowly I fear we are getting "behind". I am looking at CLE and Singapore. With CLE I think he would be fine in yr 5. Singapore I don't think he is ready for 5. We did the test today for 4B and he isn't ready for that. There are also a few things in 4A that we have not covered, but not many. Daisy, I know from WTM that you did CLE last year, where did you place your dd in Singapore? Any other placement advice would be much appreciated.

First off, background info.

I only used CLE for half of Lydia's 4th grade year and I used it for Ryan's first grade year.
Ryan had used Singapore Earlybird and Lydia had used R&S Math prior to CLE.

For CLE and Singapore, I gave my kiddos the placement tests.

Lydia was beginning 4th grade R&S Math. She tested into 4th grade CLE Math and later she tested into 3A of Singapore Math.
Ryan tested into Singapore 1B

So over the summer I used 3A with Lydia. She is now in 3B and loving it!!
Ryan did 1B over the summer and is now doing 2A and having no problems.

How the future looks...

Ryan is on track to follow HOD's math plans.
Here is how it looks for Lydia (5th grader)

Lydia

2009/2010 - 3B/4A (5th grade)
Summer - 4B
2010/2011 - 5A/5B (6th grade)
2011/2012 - Hoping for pre-Algebra (guess we'll see)

I love Singapore Math. The only placement advice I can give is use the placement tests. I went a bit lower than what Lydia scored on Singapore because of her frustration level with math (I'm so glad I did). CLE's placement tests are accurate in my opinion.
