Preparing - are you going with Noah

Just a funny story about the 2nd week of Preparing. We were studying Noah's Ark and reading another AWESOME HOD book. My ds and I had a conversation about Noah's faith and the door being an open invitation to trust God and believe and go on the ark. Then, my ds stated, "If you and Dad were standing with the crowd of mockers and I saw that open door, I'm sorry, Mom, but I'd go right onto that boat and leave you behind." I stated that is awesome and what a great faith he has to not be swayed by the world. He said, "Oh... I would just want to go see that flood zoo." :D Oh, the childlike view of theology!

SueAnn,

What a great story! I love to hear our kiddos share that they would be willing to be different from those around them in order to follow God's leading. The reason he shared for going was too cute. :D

Blessings,
Carrie

Hahahahaha! That is so funny. That one had me laughing out loud. What a smart little guy. He knew there would be some cool things in there to see. That is too funny. :D
