Oddly enough, that is the one poem my child doing Bigger decided to learn also! How funny. Wonder what it is about that poem?

Mine too! EVERY time he got to choose the poem to review, he chose this poem. Must be a boy thing!

It really is a great poem with a simple rhyming pattern that he could get into.
He checked out an entire book of Longfellow poems at the library this week and has been reading them.
We are a huge poetry family. It's fun to have them assigned as part of SCHOOL!
