Hi, My daughter and I just started using LHFHG this week on Monday... Things are going well, but just wondering how long it should take in its entirety? We sometimes take a break midway through if she needs it, just wondering what others say about this, thanks, love HOD!!

I think it is suggested to take 1-1 1/2 hrs a day. We normally break up the day so I can work with dd(9) and ds(3), however today we worked straight through. Even with adding in speech therapy and convincing my ds(5) the ryhmes are actually fun, we finished in about an hour. We still need to read Reddy Fox, but that won't take long at all.

Little Hearts takes us about 90 minutes a day, sometimes a little bit longer if we drag out the projects or play activities. We use a different math curriculum that takes a little longer than Singapore. My son is a 2nd grader and he loves Little Hearts. We often do two days worth rather than one just because he would rather do it than anything else. But, for one day, with math, about 90 minutes for us.

It takes us anywhere from 1-2 hours depending on what activities are scheduled for the day. We break it up into several little segments though so we are never doing school in one big chunk.

We've done LHFHG a few times now with our little guys, and we really enjoyed it both times! Here's a link that should help with times:

For us it takes about 1-1/2 to 2 hours. We do one side, then snack time while listening to the cd, and then work on the other side.
