Starting tomorrow

After months of planning to homeschool, tomorrow is the big day. My ds and I have been doing some stuff this summer, but not the HOD stuff. We are doing CLE math so we have been doing that 2 days a week just to figure out how many problems a day is a good fit for him. He also has been working on a 50 state study with notebooking so he could get the feel for that since it is so different from ps. He is excited to start and so am I. I must admit to being nervous and hoping I can find that balance between adapting things for his disability, but not coddling him too much. I know without a doubt God has called us to homeschool and to HOD so I am just going to trust in Him for wisdom.

Awesome!
We will slowly be starting this week as well. My 10 yo dd is PHFHG, and my 7 yo in BLHFHG, then the 4 yo in LHTH. Whew....
We are starting the 10 yo first. We're just focusing on Math (Teaching Textbooks 5) and her Bob Jones English 5 this week. Then I will do some light math and reading with the 7 yo to get her back into the swing of things. Next week we'll start with the full program for all of them.
Wow - I guess that means I need to go clean up the school room.
Blessings,
Tab
