I think we have found the perfect curriculum! I am so thankful to you for taking the time and the effort to put this together. I look forward to the next few years with HOD. Our first few days have been wonderful. My son had worked half way through rocket phonics last year and was just beginning to read, we are using Noah Websters phonics to cover any phonic concepts we may be weak in, along with reading lots of beginner books ( cat in the hat ect..) He wasn't ready for the readers yet. We are using horizons math 1 instead of Singapore, I really love it also. I feel it is going to be a great year. I hope everyone is off to a great start. Lisa - you are off to a great start with your ds! The good news is HOD continues to impress as the days and the years pass. When you get to the Emerging Reader's Set you'll be in book heaven. We're doing it now, and our ds loves the books so much. The comprehension questions are doing a lot to build his reading skills as well. Congrats on a super start!
