I have been praying about our first day of CTC for quite awhile now. There was a little concern since my 6th grade daughter has only used textbooks, does not care for history, and resists change. Well, yesterday was our first day and she said that she loved school! I overheard her telling her big sister that it did not even seem like school since it was so different.
My dd also does not like to get up early, but today while I was in the shower before school, she surprised me and had cooked breakfast for me with scrambled eggs and toast and had it on the table for me when I finished. She was all smiles and ready to start her first day of CTC! Thank you Carrie for such an awesome curriculum.

Hooray!! I'm so glad. My daughter is loving it also. We are taking off tomorrow to go out of town for the day and she was actually bummed. LOL. Love it!

That is a GREAT sign when they are disappointed they have a day off!

Patti and Daisy - you've got me wanting to jump the gun and start CTC right now! I'm in the middle of a zillion house projects though, so it will have to wait 2 more weeks... sigh. I'm so glad it's going well for your dc, and I can't wait to start with mine!

I'm so glad that your daughter is having a good transition into CTC! How exciting that she was all ready to start school!

I love seeing my kiddos' smiling faces too, especially where school is concerned.
