Hide 'em in Your Heart

Post by creekmama » Tue Aug 18, 2009 10:03 am

Just wanted to say how pleasantly surprised I am by Hide 'em in Your Heart. I must confess that I feared it would be cheesy! But it's wonderful. Today my ds5 said about it, "This is really beautiful music, Mama." When we listen to it every day, he and his little sister cuddle up next to me and listen so intently. They're so busy listening that they usually don't sing it until later in the day! Thanks, Carrie, for such a good music choice.

We love it, too! I can just start humming a tune, and the kids will start singing the words without even thinking about it. Works wonders with the "Children obey your parents" song, when they are dawdling. I'll just say, "Look at what you're singing!! Now you can do it!" The verses truly are "hidden in their hearts." :D

My kids love it, too, and can't wait until we get to the music portion of dd's lessons. They enjoy dancing around the room as they listen to it then ask me to replay it again and again and again!

I sing it myself to easily remember Bible verses! :D Especially when the dc start bickering, I sing "Encourage one another..." and they sing "and build each other up". This is helpful not only during "school" but all through the day. I agree, I never get sick of Steve Green. God's word is embedded in our dc's hearts and mine because of those CD's. Glad to hear it's having the same effect on your dc! :D

My son loves it too! The tunes are catchy. We are listening to Track 18 right now and my son today actually remembered the track number and asked to replay it 3 times before moving on!

We've had the cd for years, and dd likes it. I do wish they'd just SING though...all that dialog is distracting!
