Enchanted Learning

Post by jenntracy » Thu Aug 13, 2009 7:38 pm

Does anyone here use EnchantedLearning to supplement? Do you find it worth the $20 to get the extras you can't get without the membership? Or do you find enough free stuff on-line? i really debate with this. sometimes i feel like i have enough... why pay $20 ... Would i be wasting more time looking for stuff to use, if i had a membership, to feel it is worth it?
Any opinions here?

Hope it's not too late to post on this. I paid the $20 for enchanted learning. I think it was worth it. I print off a ton of stuff. Sometimes I just print off some little books before we go on a car ride or out to eat. I print 4 pages to one, and makes nice little pocket books. My 8yo's love the info, and the younger two just love to color them in. It works great with lapbooking or just as a supplement with a subject. You could find most of the info on the web or from their free stuff, but for us it just wasn't worth the time spent. I love it. :)

I had a membership there last year (dd was 1st grade and ds was K), and to be honest, I didn't use it as much as I thought I would. I printed off a few things here and there, but I don't think for me it was worth the $20.

I also paid the $20 yearly fee last year but will not be renewing it, I can find plenty of free resources for most of the stuff they have. If you do a search for free school, worksheets or homeschool stuff you will find tons of sites, more than you would probably ever use. Just my .02. :D

I have been using enchanted learning since my oldest was a Ker. To me it is worth the 20 bucks. I dont' want to sit online searching for all the free stuff. It has all that I need for everyone. Surprisenly even for my 9 year old. She has gotten stuff off it when we are looking up something for animals. I love to print out the little books for my kids to color and cut out. We just did a mini money book from the site and I just printed out another one for this week. I also like to use homeschoolshare which is free
