My ds who is 6 just came to me and said, "Mom, I'm very, very, very, very, very, very sorry."
I said, "What did you do?"

He said, "You know that tub on the back porch that has our toys in it?"
(About two months ago after getting tired of picking up their toys for them, I put about half of their toys in a rubbermaid tub on the back porch with strick instructions not to touch it.)
I said, "Yes."
With tears in his eyes, he said, "I'm sorry, but I went out there and got my truck and 4-wheeler."
He handed me his toys and I hugged him. I told him that it was very mature of him to tell me he had done something wrong. I didn't tell him that if he hadn't said anything I would have never known!!

I told ds that he had confessed to me what he had done wrong and that I forgave him. Then I told him that we needed to pray and confess what he did wrong to God and that God would forgive him as well.

My ds then said, "Mom, the reason that I told you was because I was thinking about that verse - 'Even a child is known by his actions by whether his conduct is pure and right.' and what I did wasn't right.

Praise the Lord!!

Thank you, Carrie, once again for such a wonderful program! I felt bad for not finishing everything last year and this was just the encouragement that I needed. God is good!!
