tomorrow morning I leave to take my oldest daughter (I have a son who is married) to college.... she stayed home after graduating from home school. Worked, went to tech. school and went to Ukraine on a mission trip. But she leaves tomorrow for college and it is 4 hrs away.

I am praying God uses her in a mighty way..... I am happy, excited, thrilled, sad.... for her.

Our younger ones are having a hard time..... the 7 & 6 yr olds..... boys.... they keep begging her not to go.

Grab hold of the moment, hug your kids, read to them.... time goes so very very fast. It seems like yesterday I was teaching her to read.....

I have heard so many moms say this lately. It sure does. My kids are only 10 and 6, but it has gone by in the blink of an eye. My mom said that she can hardly fathom that her *baby* (me) is 30 already. My mom was 30 when she had me...now she is almost 60. It just goes by in a blink.

My dd was a flower girl for a dear HSing graduate couple this w-end. The youngest is 5 his brother - the groom is the 2nd of 5 children. Sharing a common bond of homeschooling and 5 children the mom of the groom just smiled at me and said. "See. It DOES go fast!" Just thinking about makes want to cry!
