We had a great day as well!! We still have to do storytime (my favorite part!!) but the rest is done...LHTH and LHFHG.

I loved so much about today – I loved that I changed my schedule to 15 to 20 min increments – it helps my guilt level tremendously to not be busy with one person for more time than that. And I think it helped with attention span, etc. I love that my 1 yo climbed into a chair and wanted to paint with her 3 yo sister when we were doing LHTH, so I let her paint on construction paper with water. I love that my oldest thought phonics was FUN today and that my 3 yo asked to do more school projects. I love that after a meltdown, I got out the Bible for Bible time and my 5 yo said, “Kids can’t learn anything out of this big Bible – it is only for you and daddy!” and I got to show her that God has something for them in the big Bible too (how fitting that the verse was “Let the little children come to me!”)

I know there will be hard days, but I was thankful to have had a good day today.

What a super start to school! I loved all the parts you loved too, and I'm so glad you and your dc are enjoying homeschooling with HOD. What a satisfying way to live!

I love the short time spurts too. It keeps the house from falling apart around me when I'm only with each kiddo in short spurts. In that way no one is without me for too long!

It's wonderful to hear about your little one participating with your older one and the part that you shared about the "big" Bible was precious!
