Had a GREAT first day!!!

We had a wonderful first day today! After our special "Back to School Breakfast", DS did all his work without complaining and loved Bible, History, Geography (globe activity) and even LA (which says a lot for him) 
! I love how everything is in bite-size chunks and not too much so it doesn't overload his little brain. Both boys LOVED going on the scavenger hunt for the DITHR adventure genre kickoff activity!
My only issue was with the younger two who were constantly competing for my attention almost the whole time and when they weren't, they were getting into trouble! I tried having activities for the 4 yr. old to do, but they didn't keep his attention for very long. Sigh. The 22 month old found a pen someone had left out...I don't even need to tell you the rest!
Anyway, I guess the first week will be an adjustment for all of us, but I am super-excited by how great my DS7's attitude about school was! YAY!!!

My little guy has found pens (and markers) around the house before too. Did you know Spray N Wash takes out pen marks on leather tables?
