What's after CTC?

Post by juliekay » Sat Aug 08, 2009 6:37 pm

Is there more HOD in the future? Will there be a new one next year? Just asking because I have 2 in Jr. High next year! Always planning ahead! 8)

Julie,

The plan is for 3 more guides after CTC at the pace of guide a year. So the next one should be on the middle ages.
Kay in PA

Mom to dd12, dd11, ds9, ds7 & ds3 1/2

BHFHG with dss 7&9 and dd11

Julie,

Kay in PA did a great job of answering your question. Here's a link to the planned scope and sequence for future HOD guides:
http://www.heartofdakota.com/scope.php

Right now it is looking like we may go farther than the 1500's in the upcoming guide, as it's looking more like early to mid-1600's with the resources that we are narrowing down to use. :D

Blessings,
Carrie

How exciting! I had forgotten about that link! Will the next guide have extensions for grade 7-8? Thank you both for answering! We are so enjoying HOD & look forward to using it from now until we are done homeschooling!
