Yes! I ordered the rest of our books for Bigger at the Atlanta Expo and have been anxiously watching the mail.... Finally they are here! We are leaving tomorrow morning for the beach and I really needed those books. Of course, the mail was running VERY late today. It's nearly 6:30pm and it JUST arrived.

We are off to our 2nd Annual "Back to the Beach Week" while the rest of our friends are neighbors are "Back to School". We will start 2nd grade and Bigger in our "oceanfront classroom".

Woo-hoo! I love box day! I bet all your wonderful books slowed your mailman down.

Are you taking along One Small Square: Seashore? Grant really thought that we needed to go to a beach last fall while we were reading that book for science.

I like your tradition, by the way. Too bad it really isn't possible for dairy farmers to get away in August with corn sliege to cut. I could go for a tradition like that! (I'm not complaining though, there are definite perks to farm life, too. )

I'm so glad that you received your books in time to take them on your week at the beach. I agree that would be a terrific way to plan for the upcoming year. Here is South Dakota we are very far from any beach, so I love the thought of week in the sand! Enjoy!
