Just finished reading my HOD catalog cover to cover...

... and it answered so many of the questions I have had about various aspects of the HOD programs. What an inspiring read! Carrie I am so grateful for the work you have done and the heart you have put into this! The only thing now is I am left wishing you were my neighbor!
I just feel like this curriculum is exactly what I have been wishing for but didn't know existed. I can't wait to start my girls in LHTH as soon as it arrives! I love how the lessons are short and engaging and a good balance between table activities, cuddle activities, move-around-and-get-the-wiggles-out activities, etc etc. I LOVE that I can choose my own phonics program. Not trying to be overy-dramatic, but this feels like such a huge answer to prayer for me.
I am now totally convinced about DITHOR being the just-right program for my boys (12, 10, and almost 8 ) too. I can see that my concerns about more pen and paper work were unfounded b/c it looks very twaddle free and totally enjoyable. I'll be ordering that soon too.
Feelin' soooo happy to be here.
