? for DITHOR w/ CTC
I posted this on another thread, but it doesn't look like it went thru.Might have saved it instead of submitting. But if it did sorry for posting it twice.

Since DITHOR is only scheduled for 3 days, does that mean we won't follow the pacing guide (telling the child how many pages to read a day)?
And will we be able to get thru all the Genres in one year, working three days a week? or just 1/2 of the Genres?

Or maybe another way of asking?
Will we finish a unit in 20 days or does that still apply if you use the CTC guide , DITHOR 3 day a week?

If your answer is we only use the 3day week schedule, is there a certain way we would pace the reading of the book? Would my dd read those books everyday or only on the days we used DITHOR?

I'll just move this post over to the Main Board so more moms will see it. All new posts begin on the Main Board. You are correct that DITHR is scheduled 3 days a week in both the Preparing Hearts and CTC guides. Although DITHR is written so that you can do it as many days a week as suits your schedule.

When doing DITHR as scheduled in CTC, your child will get through approximately 6 genres a year. Each genre (or unit) will take a little under 7 weeks to finish when done in this manner. We are assuming that you are just moving through the DITHR guide each time it is scheduled, doing Day 1 first, then Day 2, and so on, until the unit is complete.
