Question about Math for LHFHG

We have now done 2 weeks of LHFHG and we are loving it! We are using Singapore Math K and I was wondering if it is necessary to go through the Math Exploration in the book and then also do the "Before Using this Page" in the actual workbook. Anyone have thoughts on this?

I've been doing all the activities listed in the LHFHG guide. I've only done a couple of the activities listed in the workbook because dd usually doesn't need any extra practice after doing the activities in the guide. I'm sure once we get to more difficult concepts we'll do more of what is listed in the workbook though.

I did the HOD hands-on first, and then just usually did the workbook page(s). If my dc needed more hands-on instruction to be able to do the workbook well, I either just did more of the HOD hands-on lesson again, or did the part at the bottom of the workbook page in addition to it. HTH!
