What fun! I love looking ahead! I do it every year as we write our new guide, knowing my second son will get to use it the following year. It gets me so excited for what's ahead for my kiddos. 
My oldest son does do alot of piloting for us, however he really doesn't get to use the full-blown version (as I'm tweaking all year long while he's working through it).
