This next year I'm going to try using Little Hearts for my 5 year old, Beyond for my 7 year old, and Preparing for my 11 year old. How am I going to get this all done in a day? Is anyone else doing 3 programs? Can you share your schedule? I really want to combine my 5 and 7 year olds, but I don't think that will work. I don't want to push my 5 year old to hard, and hold my 7 year old back. Any ideas would be appreciated!

I would most likely lean toward having your 7 year old join your 5 year old for the left side of LHFHG daily plans and the storytime on the right side of the LHFHG daily plans each day. Then, you could add the spelling, higher level of math, gentle grammar lessons, and Emerging Reader's Schedule from Beyond for your 7 year old. In this way, your 5 and 7 year old could stay together for some things, yet your 7 year old would move ahead on level in language arts and math.

If this option does not appeal to you because your 5 and 7 year old are too far apart academically, you could also consider doing both LHFHG and Beyond at half-speed to start, doing the left side of the plans one day and the right side the next. Then, as you hit your stride, you could bump up Beyond to full-speed and could leave LHFHG at half-speed for the year. The following year, your 5 year old would do the rest of LHFGH at half-speed (or even full-speed at only 4 days a week instead of 5) and your 7 year old would move on to Bigger Hearts and your oldest would move on to CTC.

Just some combinations to ponder that would help with your schedule.
