More DITHOR questions

Post by sted » Wed Jul 15, 2009 2:21 pm

If I'm doing Bigger, and I'm doing DITHOR 2/3 and 4/5 with my two girls, do I do the same 'genre' as what's scheduled for Story time or do I pick another one? Would that be confusing?

Thanks,
Shannon

Hi Shannon!

Last year we ended up with the genres matching part of the time...and part of the time not. I actually preferred to be on a different genre. It will work any way you do it though! I let my son pick the first book he did, so we ended up starting with Fantasy for DITHOR and the storytime starts with Biography. You will want your girls to be on the same genre for DITHOR so that you can take advantage of the together parts.

This was what happened with us too, and either way worked fine. I'd just do whichever way you think you'd prefer, because either way is fine. :D
