Hi everyone,

I had debated as to whether I would share this here on the board but, have decided that I would be in much better hands if I could have some additional prayer today.
Several days ago I found a lump in my underarm area and have also been having pain and tenderness (among other things) in the breast that is next to that area.
Today is my appointment at the Dr. to start sorting this out. Of course, I pray that I am dealing with something simple and solveable but, also know that I might be dealing with something quite serious.
I am a fighter by nature and am prepared to stand up against whatever is laid before me but, I would very much appreciate your prayers to help me keep my focus on Him and to feel His presence through this.
I believe valuable lessons and wonderful things come from diversity in our lives. I am walking this path with HIm and feel a great sense of safety just knowing that.
More than anything, I wish to keep my eyes upon Him and my hand tightly gripped in His as I take this on.

I just said a prayer for you.

Is it possible that it's mastitis? I actually had a case of it when I was in high school, YEARS before ever becoming pregnant and nursing! I also had a lump in my underarm during the last few months of pregnancy this time; there is breast tissue there and I had a duct that was clogged.

Anyway, praying that it's something simple like that and not serious!
