Hello,
I just ordered BHFHG today. I will be using it with my just turned 9 year old son. Im so excited! I cant wait to start our school year. We used Abeka last year and we were getting burned out. I'm still going to use there math, however. The year before last we used sonlight core K. It was OK but Im not a big fan on Usborn books.
Found out about HOD from our local homeschool group. Looks like a perfect fit. cant wait to get our books! Im using Emerging readers set with Boy interest Read alouds.

That's exactly what we did last year...also coming from a textbook approach. We had a wonderful year!!! You are going to have so much fun together and learn a lot, too. If I didn't already know how great Preparing is, I'd be sad that we're done with Bigger.

I can't wait for the mailman to deliver them to your home! Be sure to share your box day with us - we love to share in the excitement! We used the Emerging Reader's set and boy interest as well, and wow - you are going to get a lot of great books!
